stay away from the cosmos i'm going to throw a fit. i just got back from being in iowa city and i have a bunch of stuff to do already such as laundry, grocery shopping, and studying for a test. and now i just got a voicemail from the professor i work for and he wants me to finish up the work he gave me last week and send it to him tonite. my problem is where does my gamecube time fit in here? i haven't played it AT ALL this weekend. i'm going to go into withdraws. this sucks. i'm tired and my head hurts and just want to play video games and go to sleep. is that soooo much to ask for? i'm just going to put off everything a little bit longer and update now because i don't wanna do anything. blah. friday i had my first cosmo at a bar in cedar rapids. i was so excited only to find out it tastes like shit. looks cool, tastes like ass and burns all the way down to your tummy. it was a pretty fun nite though. there were a bunch of older people at the bar wearing mom jeans...you know the kind that go way up over the belly button and make your ass look twice as big as it is. they all kinda stared at me when i walked in like i was too young to be in a bar. 2 nice people did talk to me...i can't remember their names though. the dude was talking about how his mom made him a black cabbage patch doll that was just horrible and how his parents used to buy him GI Joes to try and "straighten" him up. hilarious. he did get me another drink after trying my horrible cosmo, which was nice. i managed to get kinda trashed. saturday we took it easy and went to see a movie. i highly recommend radio. it made me cry. then later we watched 28 days later. not bad, but it makes me think that random people are going to go crazy and start biting me now. sundays are no fun. i must go tend to my laundry now... +The Last Five+ |
